Course Objectives With this lesson, It is aimed to make furniture design and construction for sensitive living spaces considering the relations between people and environment and at the same time to gain ability to think and manage for furniture industry.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to use design concepts according to furniture groups used in housing units
  • Will be able to learn the materials used in furniture production.
  • Ergonomy may have knowledge about the importance of using furniture.
  • Will be able to have knowledge about furniture production techniques.
  • Will be able to examine and design interior furniture
Course Description This course includes design concept, basic actions, design model and design research, design principles and project creation according to furniture groups used in housing units.
